Information about the Switch to LivePerson
Very soon Kasamba will become LivePerson. What does that mean for your campaigns?
In order to clear up questions about the transfer to LivePerson, we will continue to supply information about the switch here and through email.
General Information:
- The program terms will not change. Commissions will still be paid out as they always have.
- The site will function the same way. We aren’t removing any categories or sections. We are not changing link names or URLs or the general flow of the site. The only thing changing is the home page design and on site branding.
- Everything will be the same. The only exception will be the domain name, it will switch from www.liveperson.com to www.liveperson.com. For instance a link to our Tutoring category currently looks like this
“http://www.liveperson.com/experts/education-tutoring”When the switch happens, it will look like this:
“http://www.liveperson.com/experts/education-tutoring”
We are currently running two affiliate networks. CJ and MyAp (many affiliates are referring to MyAp as our internal network). There are different procedures for each program, outlined below.
Our MyAp program:
We will be sending a link to the LivePerson MyAp program once the site transfer takes place. This will be the new URL for logging in. It is pretty much the same program you are using now but with a different name (LivePerson instead of Kasamba).
- Your username and password will be the same
- All of the current creative will be available in the new program
Sales, commissions and links will continue to work:
- Your current links will forward to the appropriate location once the transfer takes place
- Your tracking will be in place and you will receive credit for sales and (leads/clicks will continue to track)
- All sales commissions will be approved according to current procedures
What you will have to do:
Once we make the domain switch -
We ask that you switch your creatives to the new LivePerson creatives. You will need to go into the LivePerson program and select the creative you would like to use and replace the old creative on your site.
Support for old liveperson.com links
- We will be supporting the old Kasamba account creative and your links will track
- Support for these links will not be guaranteed forever and you will eventually have to update your links, so you may as well do it once the transfer takes place.
Our CJ Program:
The current program will forward all of your links to liveperson.com for the time being. You should not experience any disruption from the switch
- All of the creative and links from the current Kasamba Program will forward to liveperson.com
- All tracking will be in place and you will be able to see your reports as you do now
After the switch from liveperson.com to liveperson.com, we will be launching the new LivePerson CJ program. When we launch the new LivePerson Program we will also be closing down the Kasamba Program. At this point you will be required to switch to the LivePerson program and change the creative on your site accordingly.
We will be sending notification and guidelines once this process starts.
