Expert Grid - Blog Support
Here is a list of blog platforms that support and don’t support the Expert Grid:
Wordpress.com {your blog is hosted by wordpress}
Expert Grid will NOT work. Just won’t. Wordpress doesn’t allow Java on blogs hosted by them. Hopefully, we’ll have a Flash version available soon.
Wordpress.org {you host a wordpress blog}
You should have no problems with the Expert Grid throughout your site. This blog is hosted on Wordpress and a customized Expert Grid is over on the right.
Blogger.com
You can only show the grid in posts. However, this is only after including it in the sidebar. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Add the JavaScript to your sidebar
Click on:
- Layout
- Add a Page Element
- Find HTML JavaScript - click on “Add to Blog”
- Enter all of the JavaScript code for your Expert Grid, click “Save Changes” when complete
Step 2 - Add the grid to a blog post
Notes:
The grid will only show in a regular blog post
You will see to lines in the sidebar that link to LivePerson as well
